More fixes

We've fixed a couple bugs this week - one of them being the point bug! You may have noticed the message regarding this bug, for those of you who haven't it reads:

*Notice* We are aware of the bug which is causing certain members points and referrals to be reset. If you are affected by this bug, please e-mail us (admin@ssfriendship.com) and let us know exactly which site features you were using when your points and referrals were reset. Thanks!


This notice will remain up until February when it will be removed. We will still adjust any lost points, just e-mail us.

Point bug

Our server transition has brought with it a nasty bug as some users found out first hand. This bug is causing points to be reset. We are working on resolving this bug ASAP. If this bug has affected you, contact us through MySpace.

New server and updates

Well we've done it - we're settled into our new server! We have also made some updates. Featured subscribers will now be shown on the front page of the site which should mean more adds for you. Because our new server is slightly different from our old one, some parts of the site were broken (the most obvious one being the sign in portion) - these bugs have been fixed, if you notice any more contact us. Lastly, this past week we put in a new feature which will basically remove inactive users from the website temporarily until they sign in again. This prevents the system from selecting a bunch of inactive people when it shows you people to add. What's this mean for you? Slackers who sign up and don't continue to add friends won't get any friend adds from you, which means more friend adds for you!

We are still working out details for a Flash version of our site.

Good news!

Yesterday we purchased a brand new server which should speed up the website tremendously! We still have to set up the server when it comes in so we are aiming to have everything back to normal by this weekend. Coincidentally, this is enough time for the activity feature to catch all of the inactive people. This is pretty much SS Friendship 2.0!

That was short lived

We're having more hosting problems now - just when the new update goes live! We have no idea how long this will take to sort out, hopefully it's resolved quickly.

Activity update is complete!

Alrighty folks we have just put up a new update which adds a new feature to SS Friendship - this will affect everyone using SS Friendship so listen up!

Beginning today, if you have not logged in your SS Friendship account for a week or longer, your account will be marked as Inactive. Our system will only display members who are marked as Active, this means that if you haven't logged in for a week or longer you won't be displayed and you won't get any friend requests. This will help to get rid of inactive members, which in the long run means more friend requests for you!

Woops - our hosting fell down

Our server has unexpectedly gone down, hang in there folks things should be back up and running shortly.

In other news: There will be another update tonight, starting tonight we will have a new activity monitoring system in. In a nutshell, if you haven't been active on SS Friendship for a week or longer, your account will be set to Inactive. This means you won't be shown on the site anymore, so you won't get friend requests. Once you log in again, your status will be set to Active once again. This will mean more adds for you all since inactive people will no longer mooch adds!

Quick bug fix

We have fixed a small bug that was causing new members to get endless Invalid ID messages. If you find any other bugs, or have suggestions, let us know!

Hey everyone! We've created a blog to act as a news page so you can read about any new features or updates that take place here at SS Friendship.

We have a few big things planned in the near future, soon you will be able to win prizes such as iPods, Movies, Music, Gaming systems like the lovely Nintendo Wii, and lots more. There's also something in the works so you can get even more friend adds.
